Talk about how did I choose my major.
When I was in my third year of senior high school, I wondered what major should I choose. At first, I'm not good at memorise things, so I almost gave up every major that needs great rememberence. Then, I asked those who have been studied in the college at that time, to find some imformation about "Design" because I like drawing very much. After that, I found that indutrial design is such a great major for me to study in, because I love to imagine things, and that's what a industrial designer always need to do. What's more, it also requires some drawing skills to show your ideas clearly and properly. Thus, I choosed industrial design to major in, and I wish I could be a professional designer in the future.

1. Once, I happend to use an old word that no one kows what I'm saying.
2. There're lots of words that combine to make different meanings.
a. For example, "work" and "work out" have different meanings.
B. Pronunciation is a proplem, too.
1. Some words appear to be the same but have different pronunciations for different meanings.
a. The word "conduct" has two meanings, the attitudeand the behavior of someone, or to lead and guide someone, depending on the pronunciation.
C. Northern Americans have a different accent from southern Americans.
1.A student learns English in the northern part of the country may have trouble communicating with Southerners.
D. The technological language is also part of the English barrier.
Smile Is The Best Language
Think about it: One day you get up late, then unfortunately miss the bus, what's worse, when the class starts, you found that you've brought the wrong textbook, and you are so upset. Just in the same minute, there's some one talk to you friendly---with a smilng face, every thing would change, you may feel better just because that you've seen a smile!
What a great facial expression! You can show your ovation to whom you meet at the first time, you can smile to your family to show your love. What's more, you can smile to people from any cuountry and that you don't have to worry about the langauage!
With so much great influence in just a smile, why not we express our smile more often? It can truly makes you and people around feel like refreshing . Try it!
My introduction.
Hello! I'm Polly. I'm a 19-year-old stident, and I study in NTUST industrial desigh department, this is the 2nd year. My hometown is Tai-chung, which is a nice and glowing place, and I love the wheather there because the rain there is not as much as Taipei, so that I can play my favorite sport--basketball all the time! I love music, too, and I've practise playing the guitar for over 5 years, I'm love in it! The other hobby of mine is to chat with people by face to face talking, by mail, or by msn. Because I really likes to make friends, it's almost the most importent part of my life. Therefore, I wish you would like my intrduction, if so, we might be great friends in the future! Who knows?!
