Compare living at home and living in the dorm.(2nd edition.)
Living at home or in the dorm can be so different.
I've been lived in the dorm since I was in the third year in the senior high school, so I 've learned to live without my family for a long time. Therefore, to live by myself is no big deal now. However, I still miss the time when I lived in my home. The following are my opinins about living at dorm and at home.
First of all, I love playing the guitar very much. I can play it any time in my room at home, but not in the dorm. Because some times if I play it, I may bother my roommate. Secondly, I have to deal with all the cleaning job by myself when I live in the dorm. But contrary to that, at home I can just help with a small part of the cleaning job. Thirdly, which is the most important, I can get along to my family every day when living at home, that is impossible to happen when I live in the dorm!
But, is that living in the dorm has no advantages when comparing to living at home? Of course not. Life in the dorm is much freer than that at home. In the dorm, I can go any place I want at any time, and sleep or do my homework as long as I like without telling any one. Moreover, I can go back to the dorm very late when I want to finish my homework in our classroom or play the guitar in the guitar club office with other people. Livivg in the dorm can be so fun and free!
Now I live in the dorm in NTUST, and sometimes I miss my home so much because I like the atmosphere at home. But sometimes I feel like living in the dorm because I can plan my time freely. In a word, living at home or in the dorm are all great choices because both of them have their own advantages and drawbacks. The most important thing is to enjoy your life no matter where you live!
